Take a Break
The last thing you need to be doing is running or performing any activities that will only make heel pain worse. Stay away from high-impact activities until your pain has completely gone away. In the meantime, opt for swimming, the stationery bike or other low-impact activities if you want to stick with your workout plan.
Stretch it Out

Wear the Proper Footwear
While your foot heals it’s important that it’s getting the support and cushioning it needs. This means wearing shoes and not going around barefoot. Feet that are already injured will not be able to absorb shock as well. Make sure that the shoes you do wear don’t have heels, won’t bunch up your toes and will provide a lot of stability and support.
